GENE-UP® PRO BREW BACTERIA provides genomic-level detection of the lactic-acid bacteria species paired with risk-based detection by targeting the horA/horC hop resistance genes in the same assay. In addition, the test screens for strict anaerobes that can be near impossible to culture effectively via traditional microbiological methods and severely affect products with lower levels of dissolved oxygen, ABV, and IBU.
