Foundation Aims to Help People 'See' C. difficile

SUMMARY

The Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy (CIDRAP) at the University of Minnesota interviewed Christian Lillis, founder of the Peggy Lillis Foundation, about the fight against Clostridioides difficile through education, awareness, and reducing unnecessary antibiotic use. 2021 data collected by the foundation shows that only 40% of US adults surveyed had heard of C. difficile.
