Overview

 
  • The differentiation of Salmonella, including lactose‑positive Salmonella, is based on the following principle: spontaneous pale pink to mauve coloration of strains producing esterase. ​

  • Confirmation for validated methods VIDAS® SLM, GENE-UP® SLM.

Intended Use 

 

This medium is a selective isolation and differentiation medium for the detection of Salmonella in food products according to the standard EN ISO 6579-1.
