Social media allows us to share insights in in vitro diagnostics and engage with healthcare professionals as well as the broader community. We also use these platforms to provide updates about our group (“bioMérieux”), including news and highlights about our teams.
To foster respectful and constructive discussions across our official channels, we follow the guidelines below (“Community Guidelines”) and ask users to do the same. By interacting with bioMérieux’s official social media channels, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, as well as the terms of use and policies of the relevant social media platform.
How we engage
We review comments and messages regularly and aim to respond as promptly as possible during business hours.

Because bioMérieux operates in a highly regulated healthcare and in vitro diagnostics environment, our social media channels are not an appropriate forum for the promotion of products or services, product claims, comparative claims, discussions of off-label or unapproved uses, or any content that could be considered promotional, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate for social media.

Adverse events and product complaints
If you experience an issue with one of our diagnostic solutions, please contact your local customer support team or report it through our Customer Portal: https://customer.biomerieux.com/
If adverse events or product complaints are shared on social media (including comments or direct messages):
- We may contact you to request additional information to ensure appropriate follow-up; and
- We may remove the content to protect your privacy and comply with regulatory obligations.
Respectful and appropriate behavior
We encourage open, respectful and constructive exchanges on our social media channels.
To help maintain a positive environment, we may remove content (post, comment, media, etc.) that in our discretion:
- Contains offensive, abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory language ;
- Is misleading, inaccurate, or unlawful;
- Promotes violence, unsafe practices, or illegal activity;
- Is spam, repetitive, or disruptive to the community; or
- Violates the terms of use of the platforms.
Repeated or serious violations may result in restricted access to our channels.
Stay on topic
To maintain meaningful discussions, we ask that content remains relevant to in vitro diagnostics, healthcare, and bioMérieux-related topics.
Off-topic or excessively disruptive content may be removed at our discretion.
Transparency and user content
Content shared by users on our social media channels does not necessarily reflect the views or opinions of bioMérieux.
We do not endorse or verify the accuracy of third-party content.
Content shared or engagements (e.g., likes, shares) made by bioMérieux employees in a personal capacity do not represent the official position of bioMérieux.
We reserve the right, in our discretion and without prior notice, to hide, remove, report, restrict, block, moderate or decline, to respond to any content or user interaction that does not comply with these Community Guidelines, the applicable platform terms, or applicable laws and regulations.
