  • Campylobacter colonies show a deep-red to orange-red color​.
  • The simplified CampyFood method has been certified NF VALIDATION as an alternative analytical method of analysis for the detection of Campylobacter in raw meat product samples, meat‑based products, and production environmental samples.​

Intended Use 

Selective isolation and enumeration of Campylobacter from food and environmental samples.​

This medium may be used:

  • as an isolation medium according to a simplified detection method, ​
  • for the analysis of food and animal feeding stuffs, ​
  • for production and breeding environment controls, ​
  • as a second isolation medium according to the standard ISO 10272-1​,
  • as an enumeration medium according to an alternative method to the standard ISO/TS 10272-2.

This medium, used for enumeration, enables the monitoring of trends for the hygienic quality of products and the environment, and the efficiency of decontamination methods.
