Intended Use 

Selective isolation and enumeration of Campylobacter from food and environmental samples.​

This medium may be used:

  • as an isolation medium according to a simplified detection method, ​
  • for the analysis of food and animal feeding stuffs, ​
  • for production and breeding environment controls, ​
  • as a second isolation medium according to the standard ISO 10272-1​,
  • as an enumeration medium according to an alternative method to the standard ISO/TS 10272-2.

This medium, used for enumeration, enables the monitoring of trends for the hygienic quality of products and the environment, and the efficiency of decontamination methods.
