  • ESIA™ results can be read within 48h (enrichment included)​.
  • Cronobacter spp. grow as blue colonies.​
  • ESIA™ One Day method has been certified NF VALIDATION as an alternative method of analysis for the detection of Cronobacter spp. in milk powders, powdered infant formula with or without probiotics, infant cereals with or without probiotics, ingredients and milk derivates (except protein concentrates) and production environmental samples.​

Intended Use 

  • ESIA™ chromogenic Agar (Enterobacter sakazakii Isolation Agar) is used for the detection of Cronobacter spp. according to bioMérieux ESIA™ One Day alternative method.
