CHROMID® EHEC Description

Overview

Record the presence of typical colonies of enterohemorrhagic E. coli: ​

  • green to blue‑green: suspicion of O157, ​
  • purple to violet: suspicion of O26, O45, O103, O111, O121 and O145.

Intended Use 

  • CHROMID® EHEC Agar enables the confirmation and presumptive identification of enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli (EHEC) of serogroups O157, O26, O103, O111, O145, O121, and O45.
