Overview

 
  • β‑D‑glucuronidase E. coli will grow as pink colonies.​
  • Galactosidase (other coliforms) will grow as blue colonies.​
  • The CHROMID® COLI methods have been certified NF VALIDATION according to ISO 16140‑2 for the enumeration of Escherichia coli and coliforms in human food samples.

Intended Use 

  • This medium is a selective and chromogenic medium for the detection and enumeration of β‑D‑glucuronidase‑positive E. coli and other coliforms in human food samples and water for human consumption.​
