bioMérieux, a global leader in the field of in vitro diagnostics, today announced its results for the six months ended June 30, 2006.
- Sales up 6.1% (at constant exchange rates)
- Operating income before non-recurring items up 18.2%
- Net income up 41.1% (up 21% excluding sale of the hemostasis business)
Commenting on the results, Chairman Alain Mérieux said: “Our solid first-half performance has confirmed bioMérieux’s ability to pursue and enhance its strategic vision.”
