Marcy l'Etoile, France - September 15, 2006. bioMérieux and Profos announced today that they have signed a license for the development, distribution & supply of advanced food testing solutions.
bioMérieux and Profos announced today the signing of an agreement by which the two companies will jointly develop innovative solutions for food-borne pathogen testing. Under the terms of the agreement, bioMérieux will market these future solutions for the food industries and service laboratories.
Phage ligand technology from Profos AG will provide new benefits in sample preparation, that will reduce detection time, enhance performance, and therefore ensure better security for the Food Industry. The technology will be integrated to bioMérieux food safety range.
