The xPRO™ Program

Traditionally, development of an average food safety molecular assay is a laborious process that takes two to three years to release into the market. Part of bioMérieux’s Augmented Diagnostics offering, the xPRO™ Program is the catalyst advancing molecular diagnostics, solving the food industry’s complex food safety operational challenges through direct partnership to diagnose the root cause of food safety obstacles and develop innovative, custom testing solutions to ensure public safety while minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.

Our new Philadelphia-based facility at the Navy Yard, The bioMérieux Molecular and Genomics Innovation Center, will allow the program to continue its accelerated scaling efforts to meet existing and future in-market demands to continue offering uninterrupted support to industry-leading food, beverage, dietary supplement, and cannabis brands worldwide.

The xPRO™ Program is open to food, beverage, beer and wine, dietary supplement and cannabis companies of any size that are looking to improve their quality assurance and diagnostic testing services, and to date has partnered with a range of leading companies including White Labs, Body Armor, and others.
