GENE-UP® PRO HRM
DETECTION OF HEAT RESISTANT MOLDS
GENE-UP® PRO HRM is the only DNA-based testing solution on the market for the detection of viable heat-resistant molds (HRMs), including those in the ascospore state. This new innovation reduces time to results to three days from 15 days, helping to improve operational efficiencies and profitability through quicker product release, increased shelf life, and reduced storage costs. GENE-UP® PRO HRM also has validated equivalency to CMMEF Ch22 Reference Method.

Technology
GENE-UP® HRM is a DNA-based diagnostic assay for the detection of HRMs in high-acid and non-alcoholic beverage raw materials and finished products. It is a single-plex target, qualitative assay capable of detecting all HRMs post-enrichment.
- Includes internal amplification control
- 72 hr enrichment + 30 min DNA extraction + 2 hr PCR run
- Analytical Limit of Detection (LOD): 1 CFU in 100ml product
Benefits
- Rapid: Significantly reduce time to result with confident results in only 72 hours
- Reliable: Validated equivalency to the compendial CMMEF Ch22 Reference Method
- Efficient: Improve product release times to reduce costly storage fees
- Specific: Targets ascospore profiles to ultimately determine the presence of viable heat-resistant molds
