GENE-UP® BREWPRO™ WILD YEAST PLUS Validation & Sensitivity Data

The GENE-UP® BREWPRO™ WILD YEAST PLUS Test Kit is a real-time PCR assay for the detection of wild yeast species capable of causing spoilage in brewery products. The assay utilizes a multiplex detection method which targets novel Saccharomyces cerevisiae var. diastaticus spoiler genes on the FAM channel, general Saccharomyces species on the HEX channel, Dekkera/Brettanomyces species on the CY5 channel, and an internal amplification control (IAC) on the CY5.5 channel.
