bioMérieux, a Global Leader in the Field of in vitro diagnostics, Announces that Mojgan Lefebvre Has Joined the Company as New Chief Information Officer today

Marcy l'Etoile, France - March 12, 2007. "We are delighted that a leader of the caliber of Mojgan Lefebvre joins bioMérieux Management Committee. Her Information Technology track record, customer drive and international experience will allow bioMérieux to improve and consequently drive competitive advantage through IT. She will take leadership both for Management of Information Systems and Research & Development Information Technologies. This will allow bioMérieux to build connectivity capabilities between our Enterprise Resource Planning systems and our instruments in customers’ laboratories. This enhanced connectivity will deliver better value and new services to customers as well as reduce our operating costs" declares Stéphane Bancel, bioMérieux Chief Executive Officer. Mojgan Lefebvre reports to Stéphane Bancel and is a member of the company corporate Management Committee.

Before joining bioMérieux, Mojgan Lefebvre was International Chief Information Officer for TeleTech Holdings (Colorado, USA), the second largest global provider of customer management solutions. Mojgan has over 15 years of proven leadership and entrepreneurial experience in the high tech industry in diverse functions including strategy, business development, and information technology. From 1999 to 2003, she held the position of President and co-founder of MX Ventures (USA), a technology consulting firm that implements internal and customer facing IT solutions. Mojgan has also held several senior positions in North American companies such as EMC/Documentum/eRoom, and Bain & Company among others.

Mojgan Lefebvre holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Atlanta, USA) and a Masters of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. She was born in Iran, and has lived in Russia, Israel, France and the USA. She is fluent in English, French, and Farsi (Persian).
