In our field, the intellectual and professional capital of our employees is a key competitive advantage. Building these skills has become highly strategic today.

Based on the principle of knowledge sharing, bioMérieux University has been designed to synchronize in-house capabilities with our strategic goals. Courses for both individuals and groups are organized to form a three-year curriculum. We encourage the transmission of knowledge among peers and involve managers in employee training. However, we do not hesitate to bring in external expertise.

The bioMérieux University curriculum is designed to develop employees’ know-how and to share with them our company’s values and best practices. We help our teams to reach their performance objectives and we reinforce our corporate culture by creating a common approach to management and a shared knowledge base. 

bioMérieux University has been launched in France and in the United States. It will be extended to our global subsidiaries in the coming years.  
 

Benoît Beyaert, Project Management Methods and Tools Manager, began working for bioMérieux in 2006. In 2008, he became manager of a small team and immediately attended one of the key bioMérieux University training programs, new manager integration.

Our group of trainees was closely knit, which allowed me to expand my in-house network and discover what each function can contribute to the company.
